Introducing? I’m sure I’ve heard that name before. You probably have. Norwegian dance music newcomer Kygo has been responsible for some massive remixes in 2014 (our own personal favourite being his remix of Kyla La Grange’s ‘Cut Your Teeth’). But this is his actual debut single. ‘Firestone’ featuring Conrad.
Does it sound like any of his remixes? Interestingly, and pleasingly, it does actually sound like that aforementioned ‘Cut Your Teeth’ – they have a similar sounding instrumental chorus.
This guy is gonna be quite big isn’t he? It’s looking that way. He’s getting a lot of attention, and this has already gone to number 1 in Norway. “Norway’s answer to Avicii” doesn’t sound too ludicrous a sound bite (which we’ve already seen used around the net).
