Who? Hedda Mae hails from Bergen in Norway and is out with a brand-new single – this is ‘What Do You Want From Me’.
What’s it like? A carefree, summer-ready bop that takes us back ten years – specifically to the sounds of Donkeyboy, Alphabeat and Le Kid. Pure joy lies herein!
What does Hedda say? “This song is a little different to the earlier singles, and something I really want to do is make sure the door is open to new sounds, while at the same time making sure the songs share a certain identity. This song came from me and Benjamin playing around and jamming with toplines and chords back in January. Despite the cold winter weather, at the end of the day we came up with a light and playful Indian summer song. In short, it’s about the frustration when something you think you’ve really left behind suddenly pops back into your life”.
