20 year old Norwegian artist Hanne Mjøen has debuted today with her first single. It’s ‘Perfect Noise’, and it’s a one-listen-and-you’re-in-love kind of affair. Written by Hanne herself, along with Hans Olav Settem, and produced by Hanne Mjøen, Jim André Bergsted, and Daniel Løberg. The “eat, sleep, repeat…..am I still alive?” chorus is a weary yet intriguing introduction for her to make on her debut. And we’re undoubtedly hearing the launch of someone quite special. She cites Tove Lo and Aurora as big influences, so that’s more evidence we’re onto a winner here. “Hold my wine, grow a spine” is our lyric of the week tbh.
