A very kind reader sent us details of a new poppet to come out of Sweden this year. It’s Hanna Westman. Hanna won Skivkontraktet 2010 (The Record Contract 2010), a contest which East FM radio station in Sweden has each year. ‘Love Is The Answer’ is her debut single, and has been produced Matt Hewie, who was also behind the most recent Pandora single.
It quite clearly uses David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s ‘When Love Takes Over’ as inspiration for its backing track, but that’s part of its charm. On top of that, it’s just a charming little dance pop tune. And enough for us to get excited about hearing more from this Hanna Westman lady. Have a listen below;
