Exciting new artist alert! October saw the launch of Swedish talent GRANT, and her debut single ‘Waterline’ – the music video for which arrived last month. And now this week – a live performance video of the song in which we get to hear her let rip on the song even more than before. You can watch both videos below, AND vote for the song as the Best Alternapop Song in the 2018 Scandipop Awards.
GRANT (aka Caroline Cederlöfs) makes an almighty impression thanks to both her impressive vocal AND its delivery of the song’s intricate melody. Her voice (and perhaps the aforementioned melody too) puts her somewhere between her fellow Swede LÉON, and a modern Kate Bush. The song itself was written by GRANT herself along with Peter Kvint, and produced by Peter plus Johan T Karlsson from Familjen.
