Who? Swedish duo Theresia & Lovisa, Together they make up Ginger Lo (cool name), and they’ve just released their debut single ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’.
That song title is also a cool name. And a familiar one. And yes, it is indeed a cover of the Motown classic from the ’60s, by the iconic girlband The Supremes.
What have they done with it? They’ve turned in an electro-poppified version of the number, that gives blissed up, chilled out vibes solely. Listening to this is a reliable joy that feels comfortably familiar. And based solely on this, we’re aleady anticipating what their original stuff is gonna sound like.
