Swedish production team Favorite Child have previously been behind songs for Tove Lo, Icona Pop, and Erik Hassle. So when they go and release their own debut single, of course we’re gonna sit up and listen. That debut arrives in the form of ‘Just Wanna Belong’. A sublime synthrock belter under several shades of funk and a shiny pop gloss. The brassy chorus is a particular highlight here. They’ve also recruited Sweden’s Erik Rapp on vocals – and he’s never sounded better. Today they’ve gone and released the visually awesome music video for the song, which you can watch below.
