Finally! After becoming the break-out star of the 2013 series of Swedish Idol, we all knew Erik Rapp would go on to do amazing things in pop music. We just didn’t think it would take him this long to get his arse into gear. Now though, he’s ready. And over the weekend he released his debut single ‘Available’.
What’s it like? It’s a dramatic soul ballad which has been given an inventive production to elevate it up to something even more special. It’s got all the classical style of the genre, infused with some intricate sonic intrigue.
More from Erik? In the Autumn he’ll release his debut EP, which he’s been working on with Adam Olenius (Tove Styrke, Rebecca & Fiona), and Andreas Söderlund (Suvi, Elias).
