Icona Pop’s next big release across the world (as ‘I Love It’ is still conquering all – Germany and Australia being the latest countries it’s taken over) is a re-working of a song from their new album. ‘Tis ‘Ready For The Weekend’!
The track has been taken on by US collaborative The Cataracs (you know – what Dev used to mutter at the start of her tracks, before she met Eric Sa-ade) and it’s being released as their next single. For now though, they’ve put the song online as a free download. Yes – a free download! Nab it below while you can.
‘Ready For The Weekend’ isn’t the most tuneful song on their debut album, but it’s another one that we love regardless. So we’re pleased to see that it’s going to be getting a lot more attention in the coming months. It’s a jam!
