We love this woman. And we love this song.
Originally released as part of her ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’ album in 2010, the track is mercifully getting a new lease of life, as it’s taking part in the annual Viña del Mar International Song Contest in Latin America. There, Hera is one of six finalists, and will be competing with this song.
However, it’s of course been subjected to a brand new mix, to bring it right up to 2013. And she’s also re-recorded the vocals. Thankfully though, everything that we loved about the original has been kept intact. The ph’nom schlager melody, the dramatic piano, and the quite frankly ridiculous/amazing poperatics that make up the basis of the song. And that especially ludicrous middle eight section is still present and correct. VERY correct. In short – the whole thing has been given an almighty polish and spruce up.
