One of the best singles of 2008, ‘Discotheque’ by Elin Lanto, is being given another shot in the UK by its UK label, AATW. It was offered up to the playlisters at UK radio and television a few months ago, but nobody was interested – INEXPLICABLY. However, thanks to the mammoth success of ‘Release Me’ by Agnes (it surpassed the 200,000 sales mark over the weekend!), AATW have decided it would be silly to lay their scandipoppet single to rest, and are now pushing the Jonas Von Der Burg remix as the lead edit of the single. The video has been re-edited with the remix too. Personally, we much prefer the original version. But nobody was taking that bait, so this second chance is more than welcome!
