Helena Paparizou rocked up to Liseberg on Monday night, to give the first ever TV performance of her brand new Swedish single, ‘Save Me (This Is An SOS)’.

In all honesty, this wasn’t quite the performance that a song of this stature deserved. We all know that Helena Paparizou functions a lot better on stage with a troupe of hot topless male dancers behind her, gyrating to her every syllable. But instead poor Helena was forced onto the stage all on her lonesome, and so the first TV performance of what’s undoubtedly been one of the best pop songs of the year so far, fell a little bit flat.
Not bad. Just not epic, like it coulda woulda shoulda been. Can somebody save her, save her, save her – this is an SOS.
