Hej Matematik have put out a brand new single – their first in a while. And with it, a new video for it too.
It’s ‘Livet i Plastik’ and it features Aqua’s Søren rhyming the words ‘plastic’ and ‘fantastic’ for the second time in his career. It sees the duo, made up of Søren and his nephew Nicolaj, stay with their electronica sound. Although this time, there’s an obvious reggae element thrown in and lording over proceedings. It doesn’t sound like a reggae song though. Nor does it sound like fellow Scandipoppers with a penchant for reggae influenced pop, Ace of Base. It just sounds like Hej Matematik playing around with a reggae style. And it sounds quite good, at that.
