Swedish pop experience Gravitonas today release their long awaited new single – ‘Incredible’, along with its video.
It’s a two tone pop song – one that at first seems like it’s been molded upon Andreas Öhrn’s past rock band outfit, but which soon flares a clubland abandon, the sort we’ve all come to expect (and love) from Alexander Bard. It’s strange (the fact, not the song) – Gravitonas have always merged rock and dance together, most notably on their debut single ‘Kites’, but ‘Incredible’ actually does feel like a (more down-tempo) rock song has been placed alongside a totally different dance track. It’s not as jarring as that sounds on paper though. After all, by now Gravitonas are already masters at what they do. We guess ‘Incredible’s new slant on mixing the two genres shows both a cohesiveness in their repertoire and an evolution, but either way – it’s a bloody marvellous listening experience when you play their entire catalogue together, which we did very recently.
It’s the first single to be taken from the forthcoming Gravitonas EP ‘Hyperborea’. And as with ALL Gravitonas releases, ‘Incredible’ is released on every digital platform, all over the world. iTunes link below the vid.
