It’s been a very good week for Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of Abba. The DVD of the film ‘Mamma Mia’, containing Abba’s songs, has become the fastest selling DVD off all time in the UK – selling a mammoth 3.125 million copies in its first week of release. What are they going to do with all that money?! On top of that, Simon Cowell’s uber successful Il Divo group have just gone top 5 in the album charts all around the world (including the US and UK) with their new album ‘The Promise’. It features their cover of ‘The Winner Takes It All’, which should see Benny and Bjorn’s royalty cheques look even scarier. ‘The Winner Takes It All’ has been chosen as the lead single in most European countries, and has already gone top 30 in Spain and Portugal.
