Norway’s top female popstar of recent years, Gabrielle, is back with a brand new single released last week. It’s ‘Ti Kniver’, and features Norwegian producer Thomas Eriksen, who has contributed both vocals and production to the track.
After this summer’s MASSIVE (and deservedly so) single ‘5 Fine Frøkner’, she’s taken the tempo down ever so slightly. Whereas that was nineties house-tastic, ‘Ti Kniver’ is more of a melancholic and melodic song. One with an urban beat and the occasional dance music sensibilities. Fantastically produced, as is now a given with Thomas, it’s another high point of Gabrielle’s repertoire. Not that she’s had many low points.
This should be another huge hit for her. And we hope that it brings with it a second album after 2012’s debut.
