Norwegian singer Frida Amundsen is crossing the border and releasing a new single here in Sweden – ‘Rush’.
It’s a charmingly retro pop tune. Not a million miles away from the Swedes themselves are producing with Amanda Jenssen. Although this would be classified as more easy listening. It’s also got a delightfully and shamelessly joyous pop chorus. That melody is something else. If Dawson’s Creek were still around today, this would be used to soundtrack a particularly happy scene in one of the more positive episodes.
‘Rush’ is taken from Frida’s debut album ‘September Blue’ which has been out for a couple of months now throughout Scandinavia.
