‘Tis a good time to be an admirer of First Aid Kit’s current single ‘Emmylou’, which we wrote about a couple of weeks back. The song is all over P3 radio in Sweden, the parent album ‘The Lion’s Roar’ was released this week, and thus it means that the pair are out and about promoting it – which inevitably leads to a TV performance of the song.
And that happened yesterday morning as they popped by Nyhetsmorgon to perform that very track ‘Emmylou’. It’s a song which translates superbly into a live performance, with the girls capturing and delivering the staple retro romance of the track that makes the recording sound so special. They also performed a couple of other songs from the new album – ‘In The Hearts Of Men’ and ‘The Lion’s Roar’.
