Swedish pop chap Erik Linder has just gone and released a brand new single – the rather delightful ‘Himmel, Hav och Land’ (Sky, Sea and Land – or Heaven, Sea and Land – depending on how romantic you’re feeling).
It’s a mid-tempo and melodic bit of pop. Sweet as pie, and every bit as satisfying – if you’re looking for that certain kind of laidback and summer sounding song. The soft focus you see in the image above isn’t misleading in the slightest. ‘Himmel, Hav och Land’ is just the type of tune to consume when you’re looking out over that view and feeling a little bit pensive about everything. It’s just the medicine for everything to click into place and seem alright again.
Thanks for that, Erik.
The man himself has given us a preview of ‘Himmel, Hav och Land’ to stream for all who frequent here. So here we go;[audio:https://www.scandipop.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Himmel_hav_och_land_Scandipop.mp3|titles=Himmel_hav_och_land_Scandipop]
The song is composed by Erik Linder, Tony Malm, Niclas Lundin, and Anton Malmberg Hård Af Segerstad. Wonderful co-writers, all three of them.
And now you can take a listen to it in full. Today it charted at number 18 on Sweden’s sales chart, Digilistan.
