This new Erik Hassle EP is quite a spectacularly enjoyable listen. Four songs, two of which have an extra version each. So that’s 21 minutes and 25 seconds of audio awesomeness. Our favourite so far is still ‘Standing Where You Left Me’. And if anything is going to be faced with the task of attempting him in the UK a second time, it should be that. ‘Taken EP’ is a genius stopgap in between albums, as it reminds the listener of what a great song craftsman he is, and is just short enough for us to long for a new album from him.
