Swedish Pop Prince (hell yeah) Eric Saade has today released his first ever charity single, which also happens to be his first song performed in Swedish too. It’s ‘Du Är Aldrig Ensam’ and it’s being released to support UNICEF – with all profits going towards them.
The song is a ballad, a cover of an old Mauro Scocco track. And it all ties in with Saade’s recent trip to South America to assist with UNICEF’s work out there. We’re not ENTIRELY sure of all of the details but it basically involved him meeting kids, spending some time with them, and generally being a Good Samaritan. The accompanying music video sums all of it up using footage from the trip. What a lovely chap.
The song has already reached number 1 on Swedish iTunes. “BOOM“, as his manager would say.
