She’s been releasing a steady flow of singles since her debut in 2019, and now Norwegian artist Torine has gotten around to releasing her first EP. On it, she’s compiled a collection of songs that make a lot of sense sitting beside one another. A theme has been creatively developed and adhered to, both sonically (faux-angsty pop-rock with a nod back to the mid-00s) and lyrically (holding a mirror up to the judgemental gaze of the church). Oh, and another strict theme that we’re rather fond of soon emerges, too – that of the composition of Strong Pop Hooks!
