What’s this? The debut EP from Finnish artist Tomi Saario – ‘I Think We Need To Talk’.
What’s on it? Four previously released tracks packaged together finally, along with a brand-new song – the title song.
Highlights? ‘Someone Like You’ shines a nice ’80s neon glow onto his sound, backing it up with a synth-driven beat. ‘I Wanna Be Your James Dean’ is adorable love-me pop with the most uplifting of hooks. And we still hold a special place in our heart for the catchy earworm that made us notice Tomi in the first place – ‘Just A Little’.
This is all sounding very good so far. And that’s before we’ve even mentioned the other two tracks! All in all it’s a flawless EP, and an exciting debut from a very promising new artist on the scene.
