What’s this? Following on from his Melodifestivalen hit ‘Som Du Vill’, Swedish artist THEOZ is out with a brand-new EP – ‘Paradis’.
What’s it like? Bop after bop after bop. Bops x5. We have no interest in hearing a ballad from THEOZ, and mercifully it would appear he has no interest in giving us one, either.
What’s on it? His Melodifestivalen finalist ‘Som Du Vill‘, recent single ‘Painkiller‘, and three new tunes.
Highlights? New single ‘Det Kommer Bli Bra’ could arguably have done even better for him at Melodifestivalen – it is transcendentally joyful. Title track ‘Paradis’, meanwhile, is latin-pop excellence, and is single-worthy in itself. Quite frankly though, with all five tracks clocking in at under three minutes, we wouldn’t have been mad had he saved four of them for Melodifestivalens 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, following ‘Som Du Vill’s success in Melodifestivalen 2022. Absolute hits, the lot of them!
