Swedish singer Elliphant finally gets around to releasing her debut album in Sweden next week, after three singles. It’s called ‘A Good Idea’. and it comes out on Wednesday. But not before a fourth single, released this week – ‘Could It Be’.
It’s a futuristic reggae-pop number that wouldn’t have sounded out of place on No Doubt’s comeback album from last year, ‘Push & Shove’. And thus what we imagine will be the perfect lead into an album which includes collaborations from the likes of Diplo and Dr Luke.
We don’t quite know what she’s going on about in the chorus. Something about milk, toothbrush and pancakes. Could what be what?! But that doesn’t stop it from being a MAJOR chorus nonetheless. It’s a head bobber.
