Denmark’s Melodi Grand Prix 2023: The Winner!

On Saturday night, Denmark selected its entry to the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. The annual Melodi Grand Prix took place in the Nordic nation, with eight songs battling it out to be the winner – and Denmark’s next Eurovision hopeful. In the end, it was Faroese popstar Reiley that took the trophy, with his electropop tune ‘Breaking My Heart’ taking 43% of the public televote in the super-final Top 3. A sensible choice for the Danes, Reiley has already proven his pop chops with previous singles ‘Blah Blah Blah‘ and ‘Let It Ring‘, both helping him build up a big following on his social media platforms. We’re already looking forward to seeing just how well Europe might respond to the Danish entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in May!
