Today David Lindgren capitalised on his Melodifestivalen success, by releasing a brand new EP.
It’s the ‘Skyline’ EP. And as well as featuring his Melodifestivalen finalist of the same name, and his Melodifestivalen 2012 finalist ‘Shout It Out’, it also includes four brand new songs.
This morning, in a timely fashion, he appeared on TV show Nyhetsmorgon to perform three of these songs. He did the song which he’s hoping will take him to victory in a couple of weeks, ‘Skyline’. Plus another fantastic up-tempo track called ‘Back To Life’. It’s not dissimilar to ‘Skyline’ in that it’s an anthemic, catchy, and punchy number, and would also have made a great Melodifestivalen entry for him. The third track he performed was the ballad, ‘Armageddon’.
