Darin’s megariffic ‘Nobody Knows’ has received something of a new lease of life in Sweden. Six months after originally going to number 1 on iTunes there, it found itself back in that very place a few weeks ago after Darin performed it at Allsång På Skansen. And it’s still in the top 20 today.
On top of this, it’s also just had its first set of remixes released – courtesy of Almighty and Sandro Silva.
Given that the song is already quite the club banger as it is, the remixes have taken it into two different directions. Trusty Almighty have put a poppier spin on it – actually decreasing the tempo a little, and putting some beat stabilisers onto it. Dancing to it goes from the vigorous fist pump of the original, down to a more manageable rhythm with a slight encouragement to raise hands in the air at times. So now you know.
And as for what Sandro Silva have done to it – well your guess is as good as ours. If you manage to be able to dance to their interpretation of it, then you’re obviously a lot more dedicated, and probably younger, than we are.
