The next song revealed to be on the UK album is ‘Satellites’. Here’s September‘s daily youtube weblog feature where she talks about the tracks that are going to be included on her forthcoming LP;
‘Satellites’ was the obvious one. Aside from the UK (where ‘Cry For You’ was her monster hit), ‘Satellites’ is the song that September is most famous for in Europe. AATW did actually buy the rights to release this in the UK a few years ago, but like a lot of their signings, they confined it to a release on one of their successful Clubland compilations. Nevertheless, its download has generated a few thousand sales for AATW, after the shoved the video on their cable music channel in light of the success of ‘Cry For You’. Because AATW own the right, Hard2Beat and September have recorded a new version, but thankfully it’s not massively different to the original.
