A brand new Danish pop duo that you might wanna place within your radar. ColorKaleido, and their first ever EP ‘ColorKaleido’.
They’ve just released a video for what we would assume is their new single (but who knows such trivialities for sure in this day and age we live in), ‘Magic Mind’. It’s Scandinavian electro SLASH indie SLASH pop, with a bit of a difference. The difference being that the usual whispy and moody vocals employed by Scandinavian electro SLASH indie SLASH pop songstresses are absent, and in their place are vocals that properly belt out the song. And also, the whole thing is quite jolly, upbeat, and merry – which is another 180 on that particular genre. It works though. Very well.
Those aforementioned vocals come from none other than Christine Milton, a former popstar herself. ‘Twas her who originally released Jamelia’s ‘Superstar’ and made it a hit in her native Denmark. She forms ColorKaleido along with the handsome Kim Vagn Wagner.
