Bingo is a game that has attracted a lot of famous people and celebrities over the years because it’s fun to play and the perfect way to pass the time. What bingo is also famed for is being used at charity events by celebs too, which is another reason why the rich and famous love to play it.

Robbie Williams

At one stage, Robbie Williams was the biggest male solo artist on the planet, and this was after enjoying unbelievable success in the 1990s as part of the hit boyband Take That. What has always been known about Williams is that he’s someone who is always on the go and in need of ways to entertain himself and that he’s charitable. So, it naturally led to Williams hosting charity events where bingo has been played while enjoying the game while on the road, where he was most likely playing online at a reputable bingo platform.

Sharon Osbourne

For a lot of people, especially famous people, playing bingo is a pastime and a hobby, and it’s potentially a way to raise money for good causes. But Sharon Osbourne is someone who decided to take bingo a lot more seriously because she has a real passion for the game that goes beyond it being a way to pass the time. Her friends suggest she is a bingo expert, which naturally led to her being targeted by leading bingo brands to become an ambassador, as she has a genuine love for the game. She’s also gone down the route of setting up her own bingo site to compete against the likes of Gala Bingo and other long standing brands.

Bono

Bono, like Robbie Williams, is famed for being a part of a hit band U2 and for being incredibly charitable. A lot of what Bono does revolves around wanting to help communities, especially those close to him, which is where bingo comes into play. Bono is interested in the game itself and is renowned for helping out at Mr Pussey’s Café, a place in Dublin that doubles up as a bingo hall. There’s probably not another celebrity out there who has dedicated time to work as a volunteer at a bingo hall, so credit to Bono for that.

Mick Jagger

We’re going to end our list with another rockstar, and this time it’s Mick Jagger in the hot seat, who is famed for being the lead singer in The Rolling Stones, one of the most recognisable bands of all time. Now, you wouldn’t immediately link a rockstar such as Jagger to bingo because it doesn’t seem like a game the stereotypical rockstar would enjoy. However, Jagger, who is based in Richmond, is renowned for not only being a big fan of bingo but for throwing massive bingo parties at his lavish home. It goes a long way in proving that bingo is very much a game for everyone and anyone.
