Time to take things a little bit downbeat for a moment or two!
Here’s the new single from Swedish singing woman Beatrice Eli. It’s called ‘The Conqueror’ and it’s a quite stunning concoction of contradictions. A bleak and stark production matched with an epic chorus melody. And a purposefully jaded vocal belting out some heart warmingly hopeful lyrics.
It all sounds rather marvelous. And when you reach the end, you get the feeling that you’ve just had the pleasure of listening to something quite special indeed.
