Danish poppet Anna David has been quiet for a shamefully long time now – her fourth and most recent album was released in 2010. Fans of Anna and of largely good Danish pop music can exhale a sigh of relief though, as she’s now back with a new single, and already back in the Danish charts with it.
‘Brænder Mig’ is the new track. It’s a super melodic mid-tempo ballad with a heavy dosage of r&b stylings and beats to it. The melody in this is super sweet, with a further injection of the saccharine thanks to Anna’s vocal delivery on it. All in all it’s a huge turnaround from the tone of the likes of some of her previous singles, ‘Fuck Dig’ and ‘BOW (For The Bad Girls)’…….
Oh and if you love it too, you’ll be very pleased to know that she’s released it outside of Denmark too.
