This morning Finland’s premier pop lady Anna Abreu released her brand new single pon da iTunes and video pon da YouTube. It’s her first release since appearing in last year’s Finnish version of Så Mycket Bättre.
It is called ‘Ra-Ta Ta-Ta’, and as a song with that title suggests, it’s pretty damn good. Its chorus is basically her repeating those words ad infinitum. It’s catchy stuff. Listen and see if you’re not singing “RA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA, RA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA” to yourself within seconds of the song finishing.
Elsewhere in the song, all is present and correct to make it a perfect pop track. The bridge is another stunner (and contains actual words). It’s one of those so-good-it-could-be-a-chorus affairs.
‘Ra-Ta Ta-Ta’ is out now and has been released outside of Finland too. Hooray!
