Orup’s week on Så Mycket Bättre, and Amanda Jenssen has chosen to translate one of Orup’s songs into English. ‘När Vi Gräver Guld i USA’ becomes ‘When We Dig for Gold in the USA’. And it’s incredibly good.
A big old cinematic ballad with a haunting yesteryear sheen glossed over it. The main star of this song is its melody, with Amanda turning in a stunning performance of it with her inimitable vocals. She’s turned it into an Amanda Jenssen song, and at that – one of the best Amanda Jenssen songs ever released.
This one’s gonna be one of the bigger hits from the series. And we reckon it’s going to become a song that she’ll be singing at her gigs for years to come.
