The season premiere of this year’s Så Mycket Bättre took place last night. With Ola Salo out of The Ark having his songs interpreted by the new bunch of Scandi celebs.
Amanda Jenssen took on what was arguably The Ark’s most loved and most enduring hit – ‘Calleth You, Cometh I’. A song that has a dear place in the heart of many a Swede.
As with Carola, Amanda chose not to give the song a total makeover. Instead, she put her mark on it simply by singing it in her own inimitable and instantly recognisable vocal and style. With an ever so slight retro-chic gloss lightly brushed over the final production, just to give it that extra Amanda Jenssen stamp. Beautiful.
