Last year Norwegian singer Alida BURST onto the scene and gave us the amazing ‘Feathers’ and ‘Some Of Us’ as her first two singles. WHAT a way to make an impression. Both sublime tracks the pair of them. Now she returns with her third. ‘Next Plane’.
We’ll be honest folks – it lacks the intensely massive choruses of its predecessors. It’s a good song by most artist’s standards, but not the standards she’d set up for herself previously. ‘Next Plane’ will be a mega album track (and we can’t wait for that debut album), but it doesn’t really feel like it should be the new single after what’s been quite a long gap since the last one. Still though – well worth a listen. But we have a feeling we won’t be coming back to this as often as we did (and still do) to ‘Feathers’ and ‘Some Of Us’.
‘Next Plane’ is released on Monday. Not sure yet in which territories, but previous releases have been restricted to Norway only unfortunately.
