Viktor Norén and Joakim Andrén return now with a brand new EP – and a lead single of the same name. Following on from the much loved ‘Love Me Like That‘ and ‘Wake Up Where You Are‘, they’re back with ‘High On You’. Another infectiously jovial, and tropically tinged slice of up-tempo synthpop that matches the highs of its predecessor singles. Elsewhere on the EP we get the incredible ‘When The Sun Comes Up’. Incredible in the sense that if you thought the singles were upbeat, this song should positively come on prescription, it’s so feelgood. The EP also houses another two tracks – ‘Under The Neon Sky’ and ‘Lay Here Beside Me’ – both of which serve as the perfect sonic accompaniment to everything that’s come before them this year. It’s an EP that ends up being a truly delightful listen from start to finish. Though our only gripe – why not include the singles on there too?
You can find ‘High On You’ on our Best New Synthpop playlist.
