This EP actually came out at the end of April! But it’s in the last few weeks were we’ve been really coming back to it more and more. And we reckon it deserves a lot more attention. It’s the debut EP from Finnish artist Katéa, following on from her first two singles ‘That Ain’t Love‘ and ‘Louder‘. The three new songs on the EP continue within the same sound and style of those two singles (both also included on the EP). Retro chic and soulful, with a slight nod to Lana Del Rey, and a darker sheen glossed over the top of it all. The big highlight for us is ‘California Baby’. But the whole thing works tremendously well as a 5 track body of work. It’s a stunner;
