What’s this? Swedish talent Isak Danielson has just released a brand-new album – the third of his career – ‘Tomorrow Never Came’.
What’s on it? Seven songs, including three previously released singles – ‘Almost Heaven’, ‘Face My Fears’ and ‘If You Ever Forget That You Love Me’.
Highlights? ‘Almost Heaven’ still induces shivers, no matter how many times you hear it. ‘If You Ever Forget That You Love Me’ sounds like it’s been a soul classic forever – and certainly deserves to be a soul classic forever more. And ‘Face My Fears’ is an epic heart-breaker.
Those are the singles! Any highlights from the new tracks? But everything is so good! We also love ‘Feel My Fears’. And ‘Ceuz Qui Revent’ is a whole different level of beautiful thanks to his singing in French. And ‘Start Again’ is a fantastic switch in tempo and tone to end the record on. But really, this album is best enjoyed as the beautiful body of work that it is.
