Oh yes – finally. Her first EP! After a stellar debut in Melodifestivalen a few months back in which she charmed the nation (and a hell of a lot of you who don’t live in Sweden too) with the BANGER that is ‘Don’t Stop’, Swedish popstar Isa today releases her debut EP of the same name.
What’s it like? A poptastic collection of jammy gems and gemmy jams. She’s got it very right by latching on to what everyone loved about her in Melodifestivalen, and cultivating it out over a whole EP. With a couple of ballads thrown in for good measure, and an r&b track that harks back to her *literally* explosive debut single ‘Bomb‘.
Best song? That would be ‘Drum & Bass’ – which conveniently turns out to be the new single too! A video for it was filmed this week and will be out very soon. ‘Got Me Good’ deserves an honourable mention also.
