What’s this? The brand-new album – his fifth now – from Danish artist Christopher. ‘My Blood’.
What’s on it? Two singles from this year (‘Fall So Hard’ and ‘Good To Goodbye’), two singles from last year (‘Ghost’ and ‘Leap Of Faith’), plus five new tracks.
What are the new songs like? Pleasingly, they fall right into line with the singles. Not just in terms of sound and style, but also in the fact that each of them is strong enough to be a single itself. ‘Stones’ and ‘My Blood’ offer up a ’90s-inspired pop and r&b flavour, ‘Aiming’ is a big ballad that evokes reflection, while ‘Lovechild’ sounds like his next number 1 on the Danish radio airplay chart (which would be the album’s third or fourth at this point!).
