So, things are heating up again in the UK for Agnes. There are only 6 weeks left in 2009, but she’s cramming everything into them.
‘I Need You Now’ is released as a single this Sunday. As well as being presented in special UK mix form, it’s also backed by a healthy remix package including an Almighty version and one of our favourite pieces of scandipop this year – the Cahill remix. The single has already been b-listed on BBC Radio One and is also receiving heavy rotation on the likes of Kiss and Galaxy.
The album follows on December 7th!
Finally, to promote all of this she’s going to be on the road a lot. She’ll be joining the likes of Cascada and N-Dubz on the Clubland Live tour starting later this month. We’ve been to this tour before and it’s an absolute riot!!! All underage drinking, wide eyeballs, and A LOT of day-glo neon! We’re not entirely sure if Agnes has any idea what to expect, but hopefully she’ll take it all in her stride and take it for the fun few days it really is. It should be a great experience for her. Said tour unfortunately misses London, but there’ll be two other opportunities for Southerners to catch her – she performs at her own headlining G-A-Y gig on Saturday November 21st. See you there! And then she’ll join the massive line up of the Capital Jingle Ball at the 02 Arena on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th!
