Well look, this is quite a nice 2 minutes and 49 seconds.
Swedish DJ and producer, Adrian Lux, has released a new single and accompanying video. And he’s gone and roped in Rebecca & Fiona to provide vocal duties.
The song is called ‘Boy’, and the inclusion of Rebecca & Fiona isn’t THAT out of the ordinary really, since Adrian is in fact copulating with Rebecca, and has been for quite some time. Not just that, but The Lux deluxe has also been involved with either the production or the remixing of some of Rebecca & Fiona’s singles, so it all fits in quite nicely, in a sort of ‘Return The Favour’, Timbaland and Keri Hilson way.
Anyway.
This ‘Boy’ track is quite nice, as we were saying. There’s something pleasingly hypnotic about the intrusive electro dance bassline that stays throughout the song. And Rebecca & Fiona do their usual we’re-singing-but-we’re-not-quite-here-really shtick that they do so well and get away with because they’re them.
As for the video, well it’s a little bit like Kylie Minogue’s ‘All The Lovers’ on a comedown after a particularly seedy night of debauchery.
