Today sees the release of the latest single from Swedish DJ and producer Adrian Lux. It’s ‘Damaged’. Not a cover of the Danity Kane classic, but instead, the first taste of Adrian’s next album.
It’s an epic, goosebump inducing track that pairs a melancholic guitar riff with some harder house beats. And a stark Scandinavian female vocal. We were convinced that the vocalist on board was Karin Dreijer-Andersson from The Knife, but we’ve since been reliably informed that it’s in fact Alva Tång of the indie band Allvaret.
Peak time, floor filler material for those of you who like to saunter out to The Clubs. Or just a damn good song to listen to, for those of you who prefer to stay in.
‘Damaged’ has been released today, and outside of Sweden too.
