Norwegian wizards of wonderful electro,Röyksopp, are all set to release their new album ‘Senior’ all over the world next month. It’s the follow up to one of our favourite albums of last year, ‘Junior’. Although we’re not expecting to enjoy this one as much, as by the band’s own admission and warning, it’s a lot darker and nowhere near as commercial. Kudos to them for the concept of having two very different twin albums though, and we’re still eager to give it a listen.
The first taster was uploaded to youtube this evening. Accompanied by a mesmerising visual, just in case the audio clip doesn’t captivate you enough.
Hmmm, it’s not really our thing, but it did sound like it was about to get a lot better just before the clip came to an end.
