THE Swedish House Mafia unveiled a brand new track over the weekend – ‘Greyhound’.
A near on seven minute long instrumental track. Half the time its the SHM chaps’ unique brand of particularly dirty house music, and the other half it’s a glimpse back into peaktime commercial house from the late 90’s. Things peak from the 2:50 point. It’s euphoric hands-in-the-air behaviour. And we like that kind of thing.
The song also serves as the theme tune to a new advert by their fellow fashionable Swedes, Absolut Vodka. The full advert which lasts over three minutes was premiered on Saturday, and it’s truly epic. Not just in sound, thanks to the Swedish House Mafia trio, but also in glossy visuals. It’s supremely fabulous.
