Yesterday when looking at the Swedish Grammy award ceremony, we were surprised and delighted to see Tove Styrke take to the stage to perform album track ‘Bad Time For A Good Time’, as a collaboration with Gnucci Banana. However, it actually wasn’t a random performance at all – today we had it officially confirmed to us that it is indeed Tove’s new single!
It might seem like an odd choice, since we first got to hear the song well over a year ago when it was released on Tove’s self titled debut album, in late 2010. But now that things seem to happening for Tove internationally, perhaps this is the best option – releasing something old with a new makeover, to tide Sweden over until that second album finally arrives. And given that she was handed a prime performance slot at the Grammy awards gala, well it would be silly not to put it to some good use.
