Måns Zelmerlöw cranked up the festive mood in Sweden this morning, when he appeared on Nyhetsmorgon to sing a couple of tracks from his new Christmas album, ‘Kära Vinter’.
Well – we say “new” Christmas album, really it’s more an updated version of last year’s ‘Christmas With Friends’ record. But we ain’t complaining – not if it means seeing him grace our television screen over the yuletide period for a second year running and croon his way into our hearts.
This morning he sang the two new tracks from the album – the original title track (and you can listen to the studio version here), plus a cover of the absolute classic ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’. The latter of which was particularly divine. Now that we have this and Sarah Dawn Finer’s version – this song need never be recorded by anyone else ever again, thank you very much please thanks.
