Put all three together and you’ve got ‘Louder’ by Ms Trez, made up of (and I quote) Ms Lorena, Ms Marlene, and Ms Mira. As subtly alluded to above, they’re a new girlband with a penchant for both pop music and dance music, and their current single ‘Louder’ is quite ace.
The best thing about ‘Louder’ is its DEMANDING chorus. The beats get intrusive, the lyrics become aggressive, and the vocals are turned up……well…..louder. It’s a song that you can metaphorically lose your freakin’ shit to. And as anyone who has ever metaphorically lost their freakin’ shit to pop music before will tell you, that makes for a hugely fun listening experience.
Produced by Swedish sire, Thomas Karlsson, and scribed by almost-Swedish scamp, Adam Robinson, it’s caused enough of a ruckus in pop for the girls to be jetted out to LA, where they are currently holed up in record label meetings and generally doing things that we imagine are quite exciting for debutante popstrels. What all this means is that we can probably expect to hear a lot more from them in the future. And that is jolly well good news to us, based on ‘Louder’.
